The primary activity in this course will be the problem list from the various undergraduate journals. Occasionally, exercises will be assigned to help prepare for the problems on the main list.
The unusual collaborative nature of the course dictates that work on the main problem list will be collaborative, and, not collected unless we have a complete solution ready to submit to the journal editors.
The assigned exercises are of a different nature, and so these may occasionally be collected and graded. It may also be the case that the exercises are expected to be worked out individually and not collaboratively, depending on what they cover.
There are no exams for this course. Your entire grade (remember that this course is graded only on a S/U basis) depends on class participation and your work on the exercises.
