Grades for this course will be based on the total number of points earned out of a possible 360. The point distribution is as follows:

• midterm exam .................................100 points (= 28 %)
• final exam .......................................120 points (= 33 %)
• homework assignments...................120 points (= 33 %)
• class participation/attendance...........20 points (= 5%)
