MA324 - Complex Analysis

Homework/Exams

Homework will be assigned frequently and collected roughly once per week. A record of the homework assignments will be kept on the course web-page. Please check this frequently for updates, notes, & new assignments. Please do not fall behind on the assignments. If necessary, I will take credit off for assignments submitted more than 72 hours late.

There will be two exams: a mid-term and a final exam. The final exam may or may not be cumulative. Both exams will most likely be in a take-home format. They will be open-book/notes, which means you are allowed to use your text and notes, but not other books.

Here are some targets (to be used as guidelines only):

Introduction – approximately ½ week
Chapter 1 – approximately 1 week
Chapter 2 – approximately 2 weeks
Chapter 3 – approximately 2 ½ weeks
Midterm Exam
Chapter 4 – approximately 2 ½ weeks
Chapter 5 – approximately 2 ½ weeks
Chapter 6 (no farther than section 6.8) – approximately 2 weeks
Additional topics not in the text – as time permits
Final exam (not cumulative.) .
