Grades for this course will be based on the total number of points earned out of a possible 360. The point distribution is as follows:

• homework assignments..................120 points (= 33%)
• midterm exam................................120 points (= 28%)
• final exam......................................120 points (= 33%)
• class participation/attendance..........20 points (= 5%)
